New information and 3G for MSI WIND U120!

It becomes clear regarding the successor to the MSI WIND U100: MSI WIND U120! Laptopmag got an interview of Andy Tung the manager from sales of MSI USA to have more ample information on the future of U100 and its successor le U120.

Having quoted screen, MSI U120 will remain faithful to the screen of 10 thumbs, but level design, edges will not be any more rounded off, but a little more angle to give him a look more professionel. MSI seems to want to rake over a little broader by enticing firms in addition to all geek token that we are ;-)

Quoted hard disk, MSI should commercialise models with hard disk (160 Go I overestimate), but models with SSD of a capacity included between 20 and 40Go should also make their appearance slightly later. Let us hope that this later exit for models SSD is to have SSD more competitive than current SSD …

Having quoted mobility, WIND U120 will be equipped well with a modem 3G + included (HSDPA), MSI besides is negotiating partnerships with American operators to make subsidise the machine.

Having quoted rate, WIND U120 should be sold without subscription around 600$ (about 499€ with VAT).

The second good news of this news is cuts it of price envisaged for WIND U100 before leaving place to its successor.

Indeed MSI announces to be able soon to offer Wind U100 with battery 6 cells, hard disk of 160Go and Wifi b / g / n for 480$ (that is about 420€ with VAT). For ancient version of Wind U100 with battery 3 cells and hard disk of 80Go, MSI wants to bring down price in 399$ at the stockists (340€ VATS included).

Concerning left BONE, MSI makes the majority of its sales with Windows, but they therefore do not intend to Linux, but rather to leave Suse linux to the advantage of a version customised by Ubuntu …

That's true that your work for the site is great nice. It is one pleasures of opening my favourites and of being able to read articles in the daily on the world of netbooks.

    Uninterrupted very just like that.

In passage for the article, I find that MSI is more and more to give in the demesure. Bigger DD, better battery.et so following.
What is utility of 160Go on a netbooks?

Raxy: I are sent to you a mail ;-)

Jeff: As for the battery 6 cells, as I often said it, for a netbook 10 thumbs, this becomes vital if you add him a subscription 3G to be nomadic extremist. For the hard disk, this is really of no use, but when you go to crossroad and that they all are lined up, for a seller it is very easy to deceive the client by saying take that there he has 160Go hard disk, while that ci has only 12 of it In short it is pure marketing …

@tous: by speaking about marketing, if you find the pertinent news I invite you to click on the wikio button "vote" (when the fenetre opens click once again on "vote") to give me more of visibilitée ;-)

    Thank you
