Tiny Compaq 700 in test: Use and verdict
Here is now a week which I use every day Compaq Mini 700, I am going to be able to say to you about it a little more about the netbook first commercialised under mark Compaq.

Ergonomics:
Compaq Mini 700 is really very fine, and the blockage and almost so important as models 8.9 thumbs as EEE PC 901. I determined the same autonomy in mode office automation
10 ″ Compact and light for me it is perfect.
For autonomy I waits at the place of HP the dispo of a battery for 3 cells of spare (or I would order it in US)
As for the screen I feel like trying to find a filter matt screen if it exists to test.

there is not modem 56K in this netbook, on the contrary you can connect any peripheral USB, therefore if you have a modem 56K USB, then it will work on this netbook.
